This year-long learning journey has brought me three major gains. First, I was able to let go of anxiety and fully immerse myself in and enjoy learning, experiencing the joy of “enlightenment.” Second, I walked alongside my classmates from the 15th cohort, from initial nervousness to a final study tour to Belgium, creating complete and unforgettable memories. Third, the boundless possibilities brought by knowledge and connections have made me firmly believe that “when you truly desire something, the whole universe will conspire to help you.” After graduation, my biggest change is being able to live the life I love, and even being able to say to my 20-year-old self, “You would still like yourself as you are now.” This confidence and ease are the gifts of learning.

The reasons for choosing the University of Liège are twofold: firstly, it avoids the thesis hell while still offering a challenging IBG experience; secondly, the tuition is reasonable and offers excellent value; and thirdly, the opportunity to complete studies in Taiwan while simultaneously connecting with a top international university is invaluable. It’s also worth mentioning that the University of Liège boasts many distinguished alumni, including a former President of France. I am also very grateful to the team at the Master & Doctoral International Education Center, especially Teresa, Debbie, and Jingyi, who not only provided assistance and direction throughout the learning process but also made us feel warm and supported.

If I were to recommend the University of Liège, I would use “3” to describe it: first, it’s a world-class university; second, it can be completed in Taiwan; and third, the team is professional and considerate. Coupled with the high cost-performance ratio of the tuition, it’s a worthwhile educational journey. For me, this learning experience felt like placing an order with the universe—if you genuinely desire growth, change will happen, and the University of Liège and my master’s/doctoral program were key drivers that launched my dreams.
